In experiencing rapid growth, Frontdesk identified the need to create a language and system for planning and operating. The founders of Frontdesk needed continued wins to keep momentum and show people the potential worth of their investment in the company. They needed stronger meetings, alignment across decisions and more time to work on the business. The team desired a partner who could facilitate strategic planning sessions and guide their teams as they implemented a new model of operating throughout their business.

Strategic Planning The Way

In a relationship that began with an introduction to Kolbe Wisdomâ„¢, humanworks8 and the Frontdesk leadership team worked together to build "The Frontdesk Way" of operating, creating a clear line of sight for all employees while increasing efficiency and accountability across the business.

We guided their senior leadership team in strategic planning and integrated a new meeting agenda practice into the organization. Our coaching conversations prepared the HR leader to facilitate the strategic planning process internally, critically evaluate the employee engagement survey results and engage leaders in understanding "The Frontdesk Way." Coaching conversations also centered on process improvements that results in a stronger partner retention process and elevated communication processes for the Operations team.

To summarize strategic planning practices for the team, we authored how-to strategic planning documents for their internal communication platform to use when onboarding new team members and refreshing existing team members on "The Frontdesk Way."
